Interim Report Card Achievement Levels

VG = Very Good

 Over the whole period of time, since the beginning of school, student has consistently achieved this level. Very well done! Goal is to keep up the good work!

S = Satisfactory

 Over the whole period of time, since the beginning of school, student has achieved this level. Student is doing just fine,and there is still some room for improvement. There may be some inconsistency in student performance. Goal is to continue to work hard, consistently, and improvement will come!

NI = Needs Improvement

 Over the whole period of time, since the beginning of school, the student has demonstrated the need to improve in the area. This does not necessarily mean the student is not yet meeting expectations. It means that there is a need for improvement. Progress is happening, the goal to improve has been set, and a classroom plan has been implemented to help

student.

Class work: Did the student complete the class work correctly and within the appropriate time frame? Were the instructions followed?   

Organizational skills: Is the student able to hang up their own backpack & jacket, change in and out of school uniform and gym clothes as well as hang their clothes on their hook?

Social skills/behaviour: Does the student get along with others? Are they beginning to understand how to problem solve before telling an adult? Are they able to follow rules regarding personal space, listen attentively while the teacher is speaking and begin to use their words (not body) to express their feelings?

Effort demonstrated: Does the student take their time when completing their class work? Do they try their best?
