Letter of the Week: F

Parents,

Please send in any pictures (from magazines, flyers, photographs) or words (from newspapers) that start with the letter F. Each week we will add it to our letter of the week chart.

*Walkathon money was due on Friday. Please send in any outstanding pledges asap as Lego prizes will be awarded once all the monies are received.

*Beyblades and toys -Students are allowed to bring their beyblades outside for the first recess only (which is 15 mins long) but for the second recess (30 mins), they need to leave the beyblades in the classroom. There are some issues regarding beyblades/toys at recess time so please be aware that this may change in the upcoming weeks.

*Interims-please sign your child's interim report and return to school on Monday. Please contact me by email if you would like to sit down and your child's progress. Students are now following all of the school routines like recess with the rest of the school. We remind them that Mrs. Palha will always be outside in case they need something-I'm so impressed of how well everyone is adjusting!

*School Photo Retakes are this Thursday and our class photos will be sent home on Monday

*Pumpkin Patch field trip this Thursday afternoon-if you have volunteered to drive, please meet in our classroom at 12 noon and we will leave shortly after. On Monday, those drivers will receive a note of who they are driving so that we can make sure every student has a safety seat for that afternoon. Please remember it is rain or shine (don't forget boots and raincoats) and girls may choose to wear pants underneath their tunic.

Since the Tamis' family has offered this field trip for free, we are collecting non-perishable food items to donate to the Surrey Food Bank in the Tamis' name. Thanks for your generosity!

*There is no school on Friday - Provincial Pro-d day. Mrs. Palha and I are attending the Kindergarten Conference in Langley-we are so excited to learn new things for our students!
